This is absolutely fundamental to getting the right energy for your tracks, whether that is a fast paced club hit or an 808 behemoth of a Hip Hop track. Here you will learn exactly how to create interesting and totally unique beats using many intuitive and varied techniques.

Ripping Beats - Not to be confused with 'ripping 'off' beats; Here Eddie shows you one of the the most intuitive and best ways to make unique beats for your own tracks by taking a beat from anywhere and using the timing and rhythmic info to play different drum sounds. The result is a highly professional sounding beat that is both natural and fully customized to your own track. Chopping, Mashing & Creating Beats - Here you will learn how to take beat info or beat chops and combine them to form completely new sounding rhythms. By the time you have finished this section you will understand how to take the rhythm of one beat and replace it with the sounds of a different beat. You will also learn about some dedicated drum manipulation tools and how to use them to do all of these tasks easily.
