Yes. The pack works with both the free version of Vital and Vital Plus. Vital is a professional-grade wavetable synth with a fully featured free version available from the official Vital website, so you don't need to spend a penny on the synth itself to use these presets.
Which DAW do I need?
Any DAW that supports VST, AU, or AAX plugins works. That includes Cubase, FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig, and others. Vital runs as a plugin inside your DAW, so the host doesn't matter.
What BPM are these presets designed for?
The pack is designed primarily at 138 BPM, the classic uplifting trance tempo. The patches sit comfortably anywhere in the 128 to 145 BPM range, so they also work for slower progressive trance and faster tech trance productions.
Are these Vital presets good for beginners?
Yes. No Vital experience is required to use them. Every patch is fully designed, mix-ready, and gain-staged, so you can just load and play. The mod wheel and macros are also pre-mapped, so you can shape each sound without needing to understand the synth's internals. Will the patches work with stock Vital effects, or do I need extra plugins?
Every patch uses only Vital's internal modulation and effects. You don't need any external plugins or effects to get the sounds you hear in the demo track. Of course, you're free to add your own external processing in your DAW once the sound is loaded.
